User Agreement

1. Introduction

Welcome to Phone Privacy ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of our mobile application, which provides smart phone cleaning, privacy security, and device management tools. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Services

The App offers features including but not limited to:

Scanning and removing duplicate photos, videos, and large files to free up storage space.
Privacy protection, harassment blocking, device diagnostics, network speed testing, and image/video compression.

Disclaimer regarding Services: While we strive to provide accurate and effective tools, you acknowledge that:

The App's scanning and cleaning suggestions are automated; you are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming files before deletion or compression.
The App does not guarantee that all duplicate or unnecessary files will be detected, nor that your device will become completely free of errors or security threats.
The harassment blocking feature relies on community-based or on-device algorithms and may not block all unwanted communications.

3. Permissions and User Content

To provide its services, the App requires certain permissions on your device (e.g., storage, phone state, network access). You grant us the right to access, scan, and process files and metadata on your device solely for the purpose of delivering App features. We do not upload, store, or share your personal photos, videos, or documents to our servers, unless explicitly stated in a separate privacy policy. You retain all ownership of your content.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks.
Use the App to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others.
Bypass any security or access controls of the App or your device.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, graphics, and functionality, are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., speed test servers). We do not control and are not responsible for any third-party content, privacy practices, or terms. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer: The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, storage space, or device functionality, arising from or relating to your use or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Modification and Termination

We may modify this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate this Agreement or for any lawful reason.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is located.

Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiations. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.

10. Subscriptions

Some parts of the App may require an active paid subscription to access.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account once the purchase is confirmed.
Subscriptions are set to renew automatically unless you disable auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle, based on the selected plan price.
You can view, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
Uninstalling the app does not automatically stop an active subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited once a subscription is purchased.
All refund requests for App Store purchases must be handled directly through Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
